Margot Boer is a former Dutch long track speed skater from Woubrugge. She specialised in the sprint distances.
On 11 February 2014 she became the first Dutch woman to win an Olympic (bronze) medal in the 500 metre speed skating event. Two days later, she took a bronze medal in the 1,000 metres, which made her the first Dutch female Olympian with two medals in the sprint distances.
Margot Boer stopped skating after the 2015-2016 season. In her final season, she won two gold medals in the 500 metres at the Dutch Distance Skating Championship. The total medal tally of her skating career amounts to 19 gold medals, 25 silver medals and 24 bronze medals at various distances and various competitions. She was a long track skater for ten years, 2006 - 2016.
